This past weekend the Burton Camp On event was hosted in Pemberton, British Columbia, at a private location and the pro team, along with select guests, hung out for a day and evening of revelry. Here are pics of the fun.
It’s not too often you get to see photos of pro snowboarders without their shirts on (or gloves, toques, etc) but on July 7th and 8th members of the Burton pro team, including Mark Sollors, Mikey Ranch, Mikey Cicarelli and Darcy Sharpe, met at a secret location in Pemberton to get half naked and party on.
The main reason for the Burton Camp On event was to showcase the company’s new Durable Goods camping collection but it was also a chance for the pros to rub elbows with more than 50 other retail and media partners, ambassadors and friends of the brand and celebrate summer. This is the second of four events the company is hosting around North America this year and it included a swim at Strawberry Point, live music by Marble Canyon, as well as food and drinks from Coast Mountain Brewery, Pemberton Distillery and Collective Kitchen.
In the photos below, taken by Mirae Campbell and Kate Ediger, we see pro snowboarder Mark Sollors and others hanging throughout the day and evening. This event was also linked to the Burton #CampOn contest hosted by Mountain Culture Group and Burton last month during which a lucky winner, namely Nicole Frank of Squamish, was given a Burton tent and tickets to the Camp On event.
